Well, it's been two years. Two years that this site has been up on the Internet. It's hard to believe, I know. But here we are. Let's recap. To all the people who have participated and done so much work over these two years, I thank you. I am not going to name you all as the list would be too long and I would definitely forget someone.

Just know that you are all amazing and I really appreciate you and hope you had fun. Except Rip.

  • August 2005 - Site began as a diversion. The posters at the Superficial Forums were posting pictures of themselves. A lot. An awful lot. So one night, when Mrs. Ac was sick, I made a site on freewebs and put all their pics in one place. One page for the women and one page for the men.
  • As time went on, it grew. People started sending more pics and, as they did, we needed a way to make people stand out. So we added showcases: one page dedicated to each person. If you want to see the remains of the showcases, click here.
  • Then the recaps started; great writers making fun of what happened on the forum that week. People wanted to see if they got mentioned. People got pissed if they didn't. People got pissed if they did get a mention. The site kept getting bigger. And every Friday night, I would update it.
  • One night it was decided that having celebrity pics would be a good idea. So we started taking pics and making pages out of them. Seemed like a lark.
  • Then things got more serious.
  • In the fall of 2006, all of a sudden something happened. My poor little freewebs account was getting a lot of traffic. Somehow, in some search engine, Monica Bellucci searches were finding us. And people seemed to be quite fond of her. So things got bigger. And bigger. I needed to get a real domain and a new host, which I did that December.
  • All of sudden we had columnists, a big picture gallery that was automated, search engine traffic and holy crap it was like a real website.
  • Now we are 300 something thousand on Alexa. That's probably still crappy, but we used to be a million something. So screw you.
  • We don't have much to do with the Superficial Forums anymore. Diabla seems to have taken the reporting on the goings on there to a whole new level. We are now concentrating on the rest of the world, I guess. We're not sure if that's good or bad. We will let you know once we figure it out.

So what's on tap for the coming year? Well, we have a new TV section being built and we may actually have some inside scoop on celebs. Or it could just be us making up shit. Really, how will you know?

We also want to run some games. And that's the part the bugs me the most about breaking up with TSF - no more games. They were fun. But there is nothing I can do about it now. I hope if you read this you consider joining the forum. I really want to play some games.
