First of all this is a spam you can report it if you want to but this is the first spam of this kind, most spammers try to get your credit cards,your bank account information or
they spam just for marketing purposes to increase their sales etc..
I spam because i m tired to see how many peoples are loosing their money and worse than that are getting into problems just because they click a e-mail link which claims to be from a trustworthy company or person.
I spam because i want to present you this guide:
- If you receive an unexpected e-mail saying your account will be shut down unless you confirm your billing information, do not reply or click any links in the e-mail body.
- UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CLICK A E-MAIL LINK, IF YOU WANT TO SEE IF THE E-MAIL IS TRUE GO AT THE REAL COMPANY WEBSITE BY TYPING THE URL ADDRESS IN YOUR BROWSER.
EXAMPLE: You receive a e-mail from paypal who claims that you account is limited,you received a payment or your account will be suspended if you don't update your information,do not click the link from the received e-mail simply open your internet explorer or mozilla browser and type www.paypal.com and login to your account and check if this is true,in 99% of the cases you will find out that your account is just fine and a guy tried to steal your information.
*TIPS
- Phishers in most of the cases don't know your name they will address to you in their fraud e-mails with: "dear customer, dear user..etc." a legitimate company as PayPal,eBay or your bank when they will send you a e-mail they will address to you by your name.
- Phishers e-mail can look very real,exactly like those sent to you by PayPal,eBay or whatever they try to scam.
- Check the spelling,most of them use a very poor english.
Second thing lottery e-mails,i m sure that most of you have received at least one e-mail who say that you have won a amazing amount of money,let me ask you some questions:
1. Did ever you played ?
2. Why they say to contact them by e-mail and their e-mail is usually a free e-mail address like yahoo.com or hotmail.com do you think a legitimate lottery company don't afford a paid e-mail address something like award@britishlottery.com ?
3. They say your e-mail was drawn and is the winning e-mail. THERE IS NO E-MAIL LOTTERY.
Let me tell you something more,they will ask you to send them money before you receive you winnings and they want Western Union payment because they can pick up quick,and you can't take your money back once they picked up the transfer. Never but never do the mistake to send Western Union,Bank Wire to a unknown person.
There is no lottery on internet,they will talk nicely and they will scam you.
Another thing that i saw is there are many scammers who they pretend to be pastors of a church,or they own a organization to help childrens and they ask for donations.
I know is nice to help and will be nice if we all can help and maybe the guy who is sending a e-mail like this is really a pastor and needs our help but in 99% of cases they are scammers.
I recently saw a article about an american guy who sent to a nigerian 15.000$ donation because he pretended to be a pastor from Nigeria,the "pastor" asked for donations in the name of Jesus for some projects about helping students and childrens,and that guy sold his stocks and sent to the scammer the impressive amount of 15.000$ who arrived in the scammer pocket. My advice if you want to make a donation go to a donation centre, go to red cross website Don't Trust Strangers Over The Internet!
So don't click links who are sent to you by e-mail,internet e-mail lottery don't exist,watch out who you trust over the internet!
I really hope this e-mail will help some peoples i will keep sending 100.000 e-mails per week.
