Rather than leave this up to the vagaries of my own taste, I’ve decided to make a list of the 31 Scariest Films of All Time using science. Sure, it’s science based on other Scariest Movies of All Time lists but whatever. I have a lab coat. And here’s how I did it.
- Take the lists of well known and lesser known Internet morons who rated the top 50 Best Horror Movies of All Time.
- Assign an elaborate and incredibly fair point system based on the ratings of the movies.
- Out of the 160 something in all the lists I got it down to 32 (there was a tie for #31)

Not sure why the list isn’t complete, maybe I missed something… but the scariest movie of all time is Psycho – the original. I won’t even let my kids watch it for fear of them never showering again.
Im putting up one a day from now until Halloween! It is a suspense-inducing countdown!
