In my opinion, Mars surely is the most interesting body orbiting our Sun. Whilst these robotic rovers are discovering great things, there has to be human hands on Mars to gain any insight as to the existence of biological substances on the planet, because it is probably going to exist far beneath the surface. With a manned crew on Mars, we would have entire laboratories to sufficiently analyze any samples - something we can't do with robots and a scantily equipped payload. I only hope Robert Zubrin can succeed before this new decade is out.

I was also a bit disappointed. I watched their broadcast hoping to see some sort of video (with a Decepticon or a martian intervention perhaps :D) of the Phoenix Landing and all I saw was the blue boys. They actually released a couple of images of Mars from Phoenix and that was it. Thanks for the link back Arcadia. :D
