I think Marilyn Monroe was admired and beloved by both men and woman, then and now. Something about her vulnerability that touched us all.

By today’s standards these pictures would be on the cover of US Weekly or OK! and there would be big yellow mocking arrows pointing to her belly and thighs. Of course, with all the mobsters sex and pills…she was a paparazzi whack job long before there was ever a Brittany, Paris or Lindsay.

I have loved Marilyn since I was a teenager (boy does that seem like a long time ago).

You have to remember that back in her era, women actually had curves and toothpicks were something you found in the kitchen cupboard.

Regardless of the events in her life she will always be the starry-eyed girl named Norma Jean who blossomed into THE legendary Marilyn Monroe.
