I know some people (like Loren Feldman) treat video with a lot of respect and use it as an art form. For me, though, there is nothing quite like slapping a bunch of pictures up there and putting a soundtrack on it. Talking is for suckers.
But, I have to say, the animoto.com online service makes things pretty easy. We are doing a giveaway and you don’t HAVE to do a video to be in it. But doing one will definitely help. Check out the sample I did below, and check out the info from the company. They are providing a one year Plus Membership. But if you wanna do a quick vid for the contest you can sign up for free (that’s what I did). It really is easy.

This is very straightforward. The people at Cisco are letting me give away another router. So fill out the stuff below to enter. The winner will be chosen at random. The contest ends and the winner will be drawn on 12/16. If I don’t have your right email and can get you by Sunday I will pick someone else. The router will come right to you. I don’t mean you have to make the contest. THIS is the contest. You just have to make the movie. Here’s how it works. Wevideo.com gave me a chance to start messing with the software and it’s pretty sweet. It’s online video editing and it allows you to cut things how you want. I have to admit I am still getting used to it but what I’ve done so far has been fun and the thing really is easy to use.

- Second and Third Prizes: WeVideo 1 year Plus Subscription worth $83.88
The funniest video gets first prize (judged by the Gallery staff) and 2nd and 3rd prizes will be drawn at random from everyone who enters. All you need to do to enter is click the link below and use the materials I added to make your own video. And if you want me to add some more crap into the mix, just let me know in the comments. You can sign in with Facebook, Google or Twitter so the whole thing is pretty easy. I made the one below and it took like, five minutes. Also – I may have said that second and third prizes are to be judged in the video but that’s a lie. The official rules are random drawing for 2nd and third. You can lie in movies, you know.
Update: Just use the free version of the tool to make a movie – don’t worry about the crap I put up.

Ok, I need your help. I’ve been staring at today’s picture for a while now. I’m not sure it’s possible to tell what is going on or what series of events led to it. That’s where you come in. OK, I don’t have any bikini’s or anything for this post (you would think I would!) but I do have some news or updates or something. It’s like an official report so pay attention!
Dame Meow wins the Rizzoli and Isles 1st Season DVD Contest! She’ll get the prize delivered from TNT so it will actually get there in a timely manner. And I realized that I could actually make a movie of when the winner was picked. It was sort of like when they show the lottery numbers being drawn on TV but not.
