The pictures (after the jump) were taken from world’s tallest building, “Burj Dubai.” It stands 2,620 ft / 801m tall!!! The pictures are really amazing. If you look at the the edge of the third picture, in the upper right corner, you can almost see the turn of the earth. Think about it: the people working on the uppermost girders can see the rotation of the earth! Freaky! See the pictures after the jump!

Yeah, well, in 20-50 years from sea level rise due to global warming, all the development in dubai will be flooded and/or washed away and all you’ll have will be the dubai skyscrapers sticking above the water the way the world’s tallest buildings stick about the clouds in your second photo.
I’m just curious as to who would be stupid enough to want to work in a building that tall, after the world trade center collapse.

That’s not the worlds tallest building. That is the elevator too the moon. I guess they can’t keep it secret any longer
