I am sort of sad that novelty songs have seemed to disappear. Or maybe it’s that I don’t listen to Dr. Demento anymore. Is he still alive? Does he have a show? Do any of you know what the hell I am talking about?

I know of the Dr. Demento show but I don’t know if it’s still around. My fave novelty songs are gonna be Weird Al ones. He’s brilliant.
What memories, staying up til after 11 pm when I was 12 just to hear Dr. Demento! And all of those favorite old tunes like “kinko the kid loving clown” & “dead puppies aren’t much fun”……
