got bored from that celtics/magic game…looks like magic rolled, though? not sure that it’ll get to 7 to help out the cavs for ya, man.
rockets actually keeping it tight at the half? would have guessed the Lakers would have turned it up tonight and pulled away in the series…might actually wind up being a decent series.
it really doesn’t matter how the celtics do, because in the end they went above and beyond considering their fractured team. if they lose in this series, they win, if they get to the finals and lebron destroys them they still win. This is a team that has scalabrine, eddie house and marbury playing significant minutes and they are all playing out of their minds. Like the Bulls, they have no shame in losing any series.
is there a little part that hides inside everyone that perversely wants to see the rockets make the finals, just because they would do so without mcgrady? is tracy at the point now where him and the team are all awkward now, because he goes down and the rockets look like a team playing in sync, and without needing to cater to a 3rd scorer?
I like the point about the Rockets and how they play without McGrady, but not sure about the Celtics point. House is a role player that a lot of teams would love to have and does Marbury even play a whole lot.
They are still the favored team against everyone but Lebron even without KG.
