You know the phrase: “money brings money, shit brings shit”? Well, if you don’t then you should. And I don’t usually write about webmaster shit because it’s boring and nobody cares. But I am going to say something about this CMFAds thing because the idea intrigues me. See, anyone that has a website probably wants to make at least as much money to pay for hosting, coke and hookers. And to do that you need to have some ads. So if you look on the right hand side, you will see that i have a little ad hole there and you can click what’s in it.
Why does this matter? Well, if you don’t have your own website, then nothing. But if you do, then check the place out. Since they won’t let anyone play unless they have money, they keep out the riff raff. So you can count on people who have an investment of real money taking more care in what they do. Except me, of course. I don’t get how money works so I usually try to eat it. I also tried to pay my light bill with a handful of dirt once.
Did news of Monday’s upcoming review contest leak out somewhere? Money talks, bs walks (or drops, I hear). Charging an average of 4 cents a day to run an ad really did scare off most of the riffraff. Those spending the money are also more careful and don’t buy ads on splogs. The spammers are welcome to buy ads, but they still have to get approval from each site owner. CMF ADS doesn’t create credits from thin air, nor do we tax publishers. They receive their full ad price from all ads running. That’s how you change marketing forever.
