A new robot, just one millimeter in diameter, can crawl through your veins to treat arterial blockage or deliver targeted medication.
Developed by researchers from Israel’s Technion University, what makes the robot feasible is that it isn’t self-propelled, saving size and engineering complication.
Crazy. This fucking thing might save me, but you know what, I’m not sure I want a robot crawling around inside of me. Just seems creepy, really.
And, really, we can make robots to save people, but we’ve yet to truly design a good, kick ass robot who can blow shit up legit. I’ve probably mentioned on here how we are slacking on building robocops, but, frankly, it needs to be said again and again until we step up and produce.
We’re just wasting time with these vein crawling things.
