I got this in my email and I think it warrants posting for a few reasons.  One is that we needed to hide our shit so people didn’t drop bombs on it.  I guess maybe they should have tried to make Pearl Harbor look like a cow pasture.  But be that as it may, it must have ruled to live in the 40’s (if you take out the fact that everyone was legitimately afraid of the world being taken over by Nazis and all the war and stuff).  Cause apparently you could come up with any crazy ass idea you wanted and someone would give it a shot.  Stay tuned for my follow up posts “Cow Tanks” and “Planes that look like Clouds that drop rain bombs made of acid”.

During World War II the Army Corps of Engineers needed to hide the Lockheed Burbank Aircraft Plant to protect it from Japanese air attack.  They covered it with camouflage netting to make it look like a rural subdivision from the air.

(Besides everything else, check out the cars.)
