‘Snot Snakes’ Create Goopy Traffic Mess in Oregon

Oregon State Police reported Thursday that a truckload of Hagfish, colloquially known as “slime eels” or “snot snakes”, overturned near milepost 131 on U.S. 101, on the Oregon Coast due west of Salem, and caused a traffic collision that no amount of paper towels will ever be able to clean up.
